Why do I need to register?
Do I need to register again if I already know my School ID?

Parts of the Global Leap Videoconferencing in the Classroom Teachers' Association (G-LVCTA) (not for profit) website have now become password protected. This is to improve security and reduce misuse of the resource, and means that you can only view the timetable of G-LVCTA funded and hosted videoconferences and book a videoconference session for your class after you have logged in, registered your school and have been accepted as a subscribing member of G-LVCTA (not for profit).

To create your own personal login details you need to fill in the green section (YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO THIS ONCE). Once you have created your own login details in the green section (your email address and a password of your choice) then you can then log in on the blue section.

Now select the option to Register your school to become a member of G-LVCTA. Complete the online form and click to submit. Your school will be allocated a Unique School ID number which you will receive by email when you have registered. If your school is accepted as a member you will be sent an invoice for your annual subscription. Please confirm safe receipt of your invoice and arrange prompt payment. We can then arrange an initial VC meeting with your teachers and arrange access to our VC lesson pages for the teachers at your school.

When your application has been accepted and approved and you have agreed to subscribe you will be able to use www.global-leap.org.
You can now:
* Telephone +44 (0)208 6036 to arrange an initial VC meeting with you and your teachers
*Update your school details as necessary
*View the timetable of videoconference events
*Book a videoconference session for your class
.

IMPORTANT -- Schools must be registered in the G-LVCTA database to be allocated a School ID Number. They can then book a lesson, or update their contact details using their School ID Number.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANY LESSON UNTIL YOU HAVE THOUROUGHLY CHECKED OUT AND TESTED YOUR ABILITY TO MAKE A CLASSROOM QUALITY CONNECTION. Please email mikeg@global-leap.org or telephone +44 (0)20 8866 6036 for further advice and to arrange an initial VC test connection. I look forward to meeting you, your teachers and your students in an introductory VC soon.
